I may get in a bit of trouble for posting this so let me start out by saying i am sorry. That said here we go.
I do work for GReddy Performance Products. We are a manufacture that specializes in the aftermarket performance products. I also own a Titan.
I have spoke to my General Mgr. about make a supercharger kit for the 5.6lt Nissan motor. Both for the people out andd yes for my own ride..lol
My question is to the public. Would you at all be interested in GReddy making a supercharger kit for the Titan/ Armada. Please post and give me your thoughts.
Hell yeah....stillen is to expensive. If you could hit a $4K price point...you'd have a good market.

definatly more competition the better makes them work harder to make thier kit better and as well as the prices, competition is always good :P
And as well i'd be intrested if the price could be more reasonable compared to other superchargers for other trucks.. 4k sounds good to me

S/C are nice, but they are already out there. I think you would make more $$ by creating some decent tuning software!! Heck, do both!! ~$4.5K for the s/c and $500 for tuning (I mean access to everything in the ECU) and you will be a billionaire...okay maybe not, but you get the point.

4k sound good to me! Lets get the ball rollin on this project and get the line started! Btw stillen may come out with a stage 2 so watch out. The more the merrier......
just curious what would be the time frame for the fabrication of the sc? hopefully not anything longer than 6 months. Thanks
The first company to produce a complete turbo setup( single would be prefferable) for this platform will make a killing, so long as the price is right.
Finally! I was waiting for GReddy to perhaps come out with something.
I think you need to solve the ECU dilemma first, then focus on putting out a kit that can hit a solid 550HP at the crank. Most of the other 300+HP V8 domestics with blowers are putting out 500-550 (LS1, Hemi, Ford 3V) and the Titan engine is at least as good as any of those, and probably a hell of a lot better with some new camshafts and ECU tuning to go with the blower.
Maybe an IHI designed twin screw for massive torque down low and lots of HP on the big end. Or an Autorotor or Lysolm twin screw?
Eaton is okay, and a centrifugal is probably better, but not with a stock engine/stock RPM range. The centrifugal blower would have to be pushed with a fair amout of boost and the engine would have to be pushed to 6500+ RPMs for it to be attractive. The Eaton is not an attractive option because it doesn't respond well to higher blower RPMs, hence the term "Heaton."
For the majority of people that want good towing and performance, I think the efficiency and broad power of the twin screw is a more appealing product for a large p/u truck.

Turbo on titan is not practical...it would cost way too much and is very hard to make reliable, and is PIA to install.

If we were to do something with the ECU, we would be using our Emanage Ultimate.
Titan High-As we say in the south, "Brang It On". Nissan left a lot of potential for tuners of the Titan engine. If your bosses at Greddy wish to give the nice folks at Stillen some competition they are welcome to give it a shot. Greddy has a good rep for building horsepower. What mods have you done to your Titan so far?
