Sorry I'm at work and I don't have the Titan here with me. I want to pull the trigger on a flowmaster 40 series delta flow today but I'm not 100% on the size
The stock muffler inlet pipe diameter is indeed 2.5 inches. The outlet diameter is also 2.5 inches. However, the outlet pipe (from the muffler that bolts to the tailpipe) expands to 3 inches. To use this new muffler you will need to either cut off the existing outlet pipe very close to the stock muffler and weld it to the Flowmaster or fab a new outlet pipe to mate with the tailpipe. Good luck.

I am also wanting to order a 40 series delta flow. Yesterday, I had a guy from a local muffler shop look at my exhaust because I was confused about the inlet diameter. Anyway, he said it was 2.5 pipe going into muffler.
I hope he was right because I will order my muffler sometime today. I am guessing I need the OFFSET inlet. I want the dual 2.25 outlet, and I plan to dump the exhaust coming out of the muffler before the axle with two turndown pipes.
Please post anyother help, comments, likes, dislikes, etc.
Listen, it's 2.5" offset in and 2.5" center out. Im positive cause I did it, the 3" tail pipe after the flange has nothing to do with muffler size. I installed a flowmaster 52571 70 series and it went in very easily, almost too easy.
It's about 50-60% louder than stock. Let me find a sound clip for you of the exact swap. Just scroll down to the last post on that page and click on where it says flowmaster 70 series. Some Flowmaster Questions
