Rancho RS 9000 Titan shocks
After installing a 2 1/2" spacer lift front and back and adding 33-12.50-20 Nitto Mud Grapplers, I was very unhappy with the ride of my Titan. The steering wheel had a lot of shake and the bump steer was very bad.
I went to a local 4x4 shop to see about a steering stabilizer and it could not be done. The least expensive shock option I could find were the 9000s. They were about $400.00 for the whole set after tax. I got the Chevy rears as I was told to on the forum. They collapse to the same length, but extend about 3 to 4 inches further.
I am a big time car, truck, motorcycle, quad guy. I will race anything. I love to work on cars and I have to say that this is one of the best upgrades of any kind that I have ever done. The truck feels completely different. With the 9 way adjustable setting on 2 or 3 it rides better than any truck I have ever been in around town. Put the dial to 7 or 8 and you cna haul some serious %$&* down a bumpy wash board road. I am doing a Baja of California 4x4 trip with 20 of my buddies in a few months and am looking forward to putting these shocks through a majot test of 1000s of miles of dirt roads on our way south to Cabo. If I only knew, 9000's would have been my first upgrade. Very highly recommended!
