Bought Nology Laptop Dyno OBD2 Scan Tool **Screen Shots**

This program is worth every penny and could be considered invaluable. After installing headers and new exhaust I was burdened with that good ol’ “service engine soon” light. I’m sure we have over 50 sensors and I wanted to know which one I d*cked up. I plugged her in and found the culprit immediately. Tool showed general O2 sensor alarms on Bank 1. I was also able to notice the Bank1 Primary O2 sensor was not incrementing when using the live data feature. Sure enough I popped the hood open and found that I had not fully reseated the connector between the ECU and the Primary O2 sensor on Bank1. Easy fix I plugged her in and cleared the light…..BOY my truck is a lot faster when it is not in safety mode or has thrown a MIL. Just makes life easy to troubleshoot

You know I will never have to worry about a shop lying to me or telling me down the road that they repaired an expensive part when all they could have done was clear the MIL or SES light. Could save some cash or keep someone from hustling you.

I haven’t had a chance to really play with the Dyno portion. Interface seems really nice…Given the price of a g-tec…I think it’s worth the loot ($369.75)

I also see this tool useful to tune a custom cold air intake....live data feature show air intake temp and flow rate....a NICE looking RAM air hood would be fun 2 tweak using this....

Hell yea...it's an all in one deal..lets see it does dyno functions, 1/4 mile/acceleration runs, view and clear troubles codes with details on each problem, and also has a live data feature which give you a real time view of whats goin on inside.....alot of features for the price i think...kudos to the developers

My buddie came over last night he has a 98' GMC Z71 ....i cleared his service engine light for him and showed him what was goin on/ still under investigation both of his o2 sensors are throwing MIL may not be the sensors...He wants to buy this setup now...like many he is his own mechanic

Fantastic data display at a reasonable price. I'm gonna order one.

Does the dyno function use an internal accelerometer like the G-Tech, or how does it function?

And please let us know this:

Are the readings consistent? In other words, if you test several times in a row, do you get very close to the same numbers? If they are stable and repeatable, they are good for tuning, regardless of whether they are absolutely 100% accurate.

This looks like a really useful tool.

i'll have 2 get back with ya on the dyno results...test pending......i do know that it complies data from the ecu or computer to determine 1/4 mile and trap speed. not an accelerometer...it some how knows my actual speed and that my tires are not stock...shows exactly what my GPS does and not my speedo.....2 mph lower than my speedo @ 80mph...i have 32'' tires exactly vs the slightly larger (32.6)tires that came with my ride...i'll keep yall posted

Here's a similar product. It doesn't look like it has a dyno feature...

26 inch tires? Is that a typo or are you testing on another vehicle besides your Titan?
