Question need QUICK advice on Flowmaster muffler(s)....

Basically, Im looking into replacing the stock muffler with one of the following Flowmasters: 40 Series, Delta Flow 40 Series or Super 40 Series. Im just wondering if any of you out there have one of these installed. Keep in mind, this is simply a replacement for the stock muffler, no other modifications. Anyway, how does it sound? Im looking for an aggressive idle, good "street driving" tone and a minimum of resonance. Oh, and a "pissed off" open throttle!
I have also considered dumping the exhaust. Not sure what kind of effect that will have, other than more volume, of course! Anyway, any advice would be welcome! Of course, Im only interested with Flowmaster mufflers at this point (as its a temporary solution).

I have the 70 series and can't even imagine how much louder the 40 is, nor do I want to.
