I am putting on my Magnaflow Duals Today!!!!

I just dropped off my truck at the local muffler shop and I am having a True Dual Magnaflow Custom exhaust installed with 4" rolled tips straight out the back. Instead of having an X pipe or H pipe, they are fabricating a Dual in Dual out Box that will serve as the H pipe. They have been using this designed box for a while and they said it helps add to the low end torque and thus not losing any on the low end. I will take some pictures and post them later this week, I will also try and figure out how to post a sound clip or video. I was torn for the last month about whether or not to go Flowmaster or Magnaflow and I finally decided on Magnaflow. Total cost for the custom install, including the stainless tips is 500 out the door.

It is going to sound so sweet, and I am sure that my gas mileage will drop to single digits for the first couple of weeks of breaking in the new exhaust!!!!!

I wanna see pics of the fabricated H pipe...

The gas milage WILL go down at first because you'll be steppin' on the gas way to d@mn much to hear that lovely sounding exhaust...

Why route it all the way out the back, its more restrictive.

Because that is how I wanted it mounted and that is the look that I was going for, I don't like the side out look. I appreciate your opinion and let's just keep it at that, your opinion.

There are other options besides back or side out. My statement was a fact actually though. But you want form over function so no matter.

Congratulations.

I also went with a True dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers. You'll love the sound especially when you step on the gas. I was advised not to bring the exhaust out the back because I tow a TT so I have the exhaust exiting out one on each side.

Well, I picked up the truck yesterday and it sounded amazing. It had such a low deep rumble that I almost wanted to go and buy a magnaflow system for my wife's volvo, just kidding. I ended up getting a dual magnaflow system that has a single muffler, dual in and dual out with the X-pipe integrated into the muffler itself. They initially put the 2 mufflers on with the fabricated box that serves as the X-pipe and when they started it up it sounded very raspy and too much resonance, so they went with the single muffler with the x-pipe. I can't keep my foot off the accelerator right now, I just love that sound!!!!!!!
