LE Canteen Crew, 4X4, BT, OR to which I added: SS Brake Lines, Advanced Folding K-Cover ,SS Lund deflector, Black Prism DunderDan grill (I hope it's coming soon), 4" Prerunner Greg Performance Lift, The first Zoomers SS exhaust ever shipped, Volant Gen III CAI, and Chick's Hulk engine cover, custom A-pillar with 1in guages (coming soon).
As Money Allows: Nismo Headers, Dynatech 2.25" Powercats (Damn Missouri and your air quality) Osirus, Trutrac, Stillen (sway bar, big brakes, diff cover), and PrerunnerTraction Bars.
I also purchased the AEM clone and love it. Although, I would like to see if anyone has done any dyno comparison between the AEM clone and other more expensive CAI's.
Removed the AEM for a Volant, and after countless times to fix vibrations and resetting the ECU to trouble shoot the low end LOSS, I switched back to my AEM, and I am happy again.
**Note, these were my results and experiences with the Volant, others have been more then happy with their Volant choice.**

Hey guys,
is it safe to say that the Framboost and AEM are the only intakes with metal tubing AND a dryflow filter??
I like the enclosed box of the Volant but it looks to me that it has plastic tubing....my preference, though, is metal and the low/easy maintanance of the dryflow filter........
penny for your thoughts??

I used to want a Volant, still do in a way because I like the design. I believe there is a benefit in having a completely enclosed airbox instead of exposing your air filter to the elements, like on traditional CAIs, just my $.02. I read though that while the wet gauze filters have great air flow, they only trap about 10% of the dirt that traditional filters do. For daily driving I want a filter that performs well as a filter first and foremost. I think for the time being I am going to order an Amsoil drop in, and wait for Volant to come up with a dry filter option. I'm not willing to sacrifice protection for performance.

i have a volant and i'm very happy with it. i also got a filter wrap also for added protection. however,i do have headers and exhaust mods and thoses combo really make my volant perfroms well. i didnt loose anything on the low end guys, my truck simply screams off the line and overall performance is much better than before. yes you get the vibration with the volant when you punch it but that soon pass away...i think the closed in design really works. i've gone head to head with a stock titan off the line and it was no contest.
