i have bought a used 04 titan with 31 thousand miles on it my rear pinion is bad its missing teeth on it and i am waiting for it to be fixed under warrinty. I am running 20 inch bead locks with 37 inch tires, and the first owner did not do anything with the rear end. what should i do to beef up the diff. so i am not eating up pinion gear
trutrac of course will not fix or correct the prob w/ur chewed pinion.unless broken spiders caused the pinion damage...37's can create a whole lotta probs/strain with the amount of Tq we have..wonder if u have big tow...let nissan make it right again w/the warranty....if u need more traction go with the trutrac which will void ur rear diff warranty..

If you're saying the input pinion is missing teeth - you need a new ring & pinion set. I doubt that's what you're talking about though...
If you're saying the spider gears (differential pinion gears, the pinions inside the diff carrier) are missing teeth then a TrueTrac is what you want. Bulletproof - it'll toss your 37's around like rag dolls.
You know whats funny, Strange is now producing a Dana 60 (S60) rear for LS1 F-bodies...the Titans get no love...
The F-body is popular with the weekend dragstrip crowd, weekend mechanic, etc...and also is known for a weak rear end, all making for a larger market for an aftermarket manufacture. I guess they dont see enough potential sales to make somethign for the titan.
