Performance Set-Up

What I'm looking at getting is a combo of the banks cat-back system and the volant cai with the ram air attatchment.(unless you dont recommend this) But my question is will this give me the power im looking for and is this a good set-up. also would you change anything.

Re: Performance Set-Up

Hummmm....well, let me think here a minute....the modifications that you mentioned will cost close to a thousand smack-a-roos, however, if you hoping you're gonna get a lot of "bang for your buck" then you might be opening yourself up for a slight disappointment. The exhaust system will make the truck louder and that's cool. The intake system is also cool to have. The seat of the pants performance gain is small. I modified both my intake and exhaust for fun and because I personally just can't leave well enough alone.

Banks yes. Volant. NO get AEM or Nismo intake or "I have been a fan of the AFE intakes" but have not seen one for the titan. I know they have one. or even the INJEN intakes are really really good.

I put our headers on and Bankes Exhaust I got about 35WHP peek gain in mid range. Top end @ 5900-6000 rpm I got like 48-50WHP gain with the 2 mods only and stock airbox.

1. Injen
2. AEM or Nismo
99. Maybe Volant if not lower

1. Banks Exhaust
2. Zoomers

Re: Performance Set-Up

i ran a 14.8@93.83 at the track yesterday with banks, aem combo.. just waitin on my headers now, hopefully i can get lower than the 14.8 with those.. AEM/banks is very powerful combo.. the torque off the line with the banks rocks.. That's why I went with it

Re: Performance Set-Up

There's a guy called shailey that has tested a ton of exhausts and CAI. He said the Volant put out the best numbers.

He's on the other forum.

Re: Performance Set-Up

Go for it, alot of people on here have the Volant and AEM both are very good intakes. I do agree with Qship if you can find what he is talking about. The banks like said is a loud exhuast.

Go for what you want, it is your truck
