We've heard your demands, and we are here to answer them. We are now offering a lower priced supercharger. This supercharger will not be intercooled and is currently pending CARB approval. Everything will be exactly the same as the intercooled system that we have now. The only difference will be this kit is going to be NON-intercooled. At this time we do not have exact HP numbers, but there will be a Horse Power drop. This kit will also be easier to install, and will only be a recommended 8 hours of installation. This kit will sell for $4,985.00. $1,000.00 less than our first kit.
Now here comes the confusing part. The intercooled kit that we currently have available will become our stage 2 kit, and this new non-intercooled kit will become stage 1. I know that you guys with the superchargers currently (Yes Got Titan I'm talking to you...) are saying "well does that mean there isn't going to be a stage 2 kit? No, that is not what that means. I spoke with Mr. Millen personally today and that was my first question. He assures me that we WILL have another stage kit, yes it will be called a stage 3, as far as an ETA goes...I have no information on that.
Here is the great thing about the new stage 1 supercharger kit. This kit is completely upgradeable, so if you want to buy the Stage 1 today, in six months you can purchase all the components necessary to upgrade to the stage 2. Same with when the Stage 3 becomes available.
I will post all the information about Horsepower and Torque here shortly. Our R&D team will be on the dyno all this week fine-tuning the truck and I should have the numbers soon.
Looking forward to seeing the numbers on this kit.
Can someone explain to me what will be lost by not intercooling the supercharger?

Basically the compressing of air can cause heat. The hotter the air the less dense the air fuel mixture will be. The more air fuel molecules you can pack in a area before igniting it the greater the energy you will achieve. The use of a intercooler allows you to have a denser charge and be less prone to detonation which in turn will give you a higher HP output.

This is good news for some people wanting an SC, without breaking the bank. Sprain it, maybe...

Kyle,
great news. I like Stillen's strategy to upgrade as funds become available. Your company has really been in the forefront for aftermarket support for our vehicles, and you are owners as well!
Thank you for the aftermarket options that you provide.
Let me know if you need a guinea pig for either the stage 2 or the upcoming stage 3!

Too bad Stillen just can't LOWER thier prices without ditching one of the most important parts in the kit.. I'm sure thier is something they can do to reduce the ammount of markup that is involved with these considering the roots style blower is the most cost efficient available..

You'll understand if I am less than enthused with this "new" "cheaper" Super charger. It is the same SC on lay-a-way.
