Dynomax cat back

Anybody have it?

Ive always been a big fan of dynomax products (due to good past experience with fit and quality/price and performance) and just saw that they now have a system for the titan. Its $370 at summit, which seems like a ok price compared to what some of these systems are going for. it looks like it includes Y pipe and is 3" single exit.

Re: Dynomax cat back

I have looked into them. I dont know for sound since I like a nice deep rumble and they look nice. I just have not heard or used any dynomax mufflers so I dont know what to expect. the price is hard to beat unless shipping is an arm and a leg.

Re: Dynomax cat back

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is what "Banks" uses.

Re: Dynomax cat back

in that kit there using a welded ultraflow muffler...pretty much straight through like the banks system. i would say it would be in the same neighborhood soundwise as banks...

heres the link to summit and they have no shipping and only 9.50 handling..

Re: Dynomax cat back

I like the way my flowmaster sounds but I want to change it up for something with a little better finish. Mine is about a year old and is in pretty bad shape with the rust. I did have a muffler shop do it instead of a bolt on so that is part of the problem. I dont want to be the test for this system either.

Re: Dynomax cat back

I really want to put a Dynomax Ultra Flow welded on my truck, but have been trying to find someone else who has done it first. I have a post on the other board trying to get muffler recommendations and everyone is saying go with a 18" long Magnaflow. I've run Ultra Flow's in the past on other vehicles and have had no drone issues. Superturbos are another story.

Hopefully someone will try one and report back.

Re: Dynomax cat back

Has anyone tried this system?

I'd assume that it sounds very similar to the magnaflow..
