I just got my Deaver spring pack from Greg, haven't had time to go over instructions yet but I noticed that they are really short in comparison to the stockers. I thought these were replacements, but I can't imagine just from looking at them how they will fit the same. Can anyone edumacate me? I will look into when I get home, but thought I'd fish for explanations first. Thanks in advance.

These are not a full replacement spring. You will break down your truck's current spring pack and remove the THICK overload leaf, and place this leaf pack in it's place. The ride enhancement comes from a more flexible leaf pack and the strength comes in the additional "springyness" of the new leafs.
It's a great improvement. A full leaf pack would have been over $500, and would not have been a tremendous improvement for 98% of folks here.
Hope that helps,
Jordan

Make sure you have some C-clamps to keep the old springs together while removing the old overload spring. Then use a second set of C-clamps to bring the stock springs that stay on down onto the new Deavers, alternate tightening the C-clamps and tightening the center nut as you work to get the two together. Hope that helps, if not let me know.

I"ve installed these on two trucks already and this is certainly the most sound advice that one can possibly give.

I haven't done these springs yet so I don't know what comes with them. But I have done that operation a couple of times. A lot of auto part store sell replacement center bolts that are 10-12 inches long. you can put them through everything and then tighten. You may still need c-clamps but it is much safer if something slips. No big pieces of steel fling around. just cut them flush and peen them when done.

Good idea, I can't remember if the Deaver center bolt was loose or not, sure it is. I do remember the instruction warned of stripping the center bolt if you used it to compress the springs together by them self.
