Stillen Exhaust Installed

This exhaust ROCKS!!! The truck has a nice deep rumble to it. No raspiness, no popping, no loss of low end torque and only minimal drone. My truck feels a little more responsive with it installed. Fit and finish is great. Quick story...had a guy in a F-150 follow me into a gas station just so he could check out the exhaust. He commented on how he has always been a "Ford Guy" but is starting to like the TITAN. Anyway, he was impressed with the truck and loved the sound of the exhaust. Then some fool in a Dodge Ram that was listening to us did a burn out as he left the gas station...what a Hater!!! Thanks again guys for all the advice and help.

Re: Stillen Exhaust Installed

Looks great, I like the single side exit. How much louder is it than stock?

Re: Stillen Exhaust Installed

I've had the exhaust for a little over two weeks now and have to say I am still very happy with it. It seems like once the exhaust gets "broken in" the slight drone becomes even less noticible. It's the perfect exhaust for someone that wants their exhaust to be about 20-30% louder than stock, exhibit little to no drone and wants SS piping and muffler from a company that has been around and has done tons of R&D on the Titan. I don't have a sound clip but check the CT forum...chefbob has one. Just do a search for "Stillen".

Re: Stillen Exhaust Installed

Only 20-30% louder than stock? Even the Flowmaster 70 is twice to three times louder than stock.

That 20-30% is on idle... it has a nice deep, throaty rumble. It is significantly louder on wot...2 to 3 times louder than stock. I was next to an SRT-10 yesterday and man, that thing is loud even on idle. It sounds angry!

Re: Stillen Exhaust Installed

Yeah, they are kind of expensive. I had a JBA CATback system installed. It was loud and kind of novel at first but, the cab drone drove me crazy quickly! I called Kyle Millen at Stillen and he tried to talk me into getting their system. Hummm I just spent money on the JBA so spending more on theirs was a bit more for me to swallow right then. I ended up replacing the muffler with a 70 Series Flowmaster. VERY SWEET! No drone! And the sound is in between the JBA and stock. Nice deep rumble but, not obnoxious. Oh, and I almost forgot it will still set off car alarms, that's the fun part!
