Airraid

Just had the Airraid Intake and Throttle Body Spacer installed, pretty happy with the results, seems to added a little to my acceleration and a little bit to the power and also a bit more volume to the noise, all in all I am extermely pleased with this modification. It probaly seems to be better then what it actually is because it is my first engine modification. Open to suggestions for future mods.

Re: Airraid

If you don't have an exhaust system, GET ONE NOW!!!

It will make your CAI more beneficial.

How much did your set-up cost you?

Re: Airraid

Working on the exhaust and headers. I am debating on what to get, i am seriously considering the Ceramic JBA headers and the JBA exhaust. Intake and throttle bottle installed was about 500 dollars. Could have done it myself but have been really busy with everything.

What exhaust do you have?

Re: Airraid

$500. isn't too bad. Parts were probably 350+, so not too bad.

I have the Banks Monster exhaust and I love it!!!

As for headers, if you're looking at the JBS short headers, save your money. People didn't see much in the way of gains with'em. Get the Stillen headers that came out a few months ago. A couple members have them and saw good results with'em.

As for exhaust, there's lots out there.

Re: Airraid

I put an Airraid TB spacer on my Dakota a few years back and came to the conclusion that it was a waste of $80.....I am open minded enough to believe that maybe different vehicles respond differently to modifications......unfortunatly I'm not open minded enough to fall for that spacer scam again.....all it does is increase the plenum area a tad, and if it enhanced anything I'm sure the Nissan engineers would have been all over it.

Re: Airraid

There are alot of opions on the jba, but overall to me it sounds like it is worth the chance. Most people who have dynoed instead of butt feeling have proved there is an increase. I love the jba exhaust would do it all over again. Don't forget that they had alot of O2 sensor problems with the stillen and they are NOT smog legal.
