We also manufacture alot of exhaust systems for some very prestigous companies (by contract I am not allowed to disclose their names) we also manufacture all of the sway bars for one of the largest suspension companies in the world (again...by contract I am not allowed to disclose their names)

We have three facilities that we currently occupy. One for the sales/machining/urethane production/modeling,designing/service department and central R&D. We have another building across the street from the main office which is used for our warehousing. And about a block and a half down the road we have another building which does all of our fabrication/manufacturing.

99% of the parts that say Stillen on them are manufactured in one of our facilities. 100% of the parts that say Stillen on them are manufactured in the U.S. This is the only way that we feel comfortable doing business so that we can see the quality of every single part that we make first hand, and if we feel something needs to be changed, we can make an immediate adjustment. Obviously some things like our intake systems which are roto-molded plastics we do not have the immediate resources to make in house but we do all of the prototyping and R&D...We have a dyno at our facility to test every single performance enhancing product, and if it does not make any power...we will design it until it does. that is why we went through about a half dozen designs of our exhaust system before we were happy with our production piece. I know this because they used my truck for the R&D.
This was not meant to be rude/sarcastic I've just seen a lot of people say that we have other companies make our parts so I just wanted to let everyone know some information on us.

[quote=Titan1219]Did u expect him to say bad things about his own employers product? Of course he said good.

Let me re-phrase, I like what Kyle said and the time he took (2 full page responses to my questions). That is a sign of good customer service.

I agree witht he stainless; however, that system is only available in SS. LOTS of good reviews on the exhaust. Still waiting to hear someone with the exhaust complain about it, but doesn't seem likely thus far.

I guess I stand corrected, although I thought my source was reliable. I believe they said your exhaust for one application was IDENTICAL to another companies.

Dude, your truck is LOUD! I like the sound better than Banks, but I think it's just as loud.

I also agree about the Gibson when we were standing there talking and was shocked by the sound of the Gibson. Overall thou very happy with the Stillen Exhaust. Seeing what Stillen does to make there products shows me they do there homework.

R,

When you took off at the light when I was next to you.. man that exhuast sound was loud as sh!t.

Re: Exhaust- Gibson or Stillen (NO BANKS!)

Figured out my Gibson problem. I had the exhaust tip pointing down too much. I adjusted it and now it doesn't reverb off the ground.

Re: Exhaust- Gibson or Stillen (NO BANKS!)

I was at the stillen meet, I was the one with the Gibson on the Dyno. Its only loud when you stomp on it(as it should be duh). But it sounds clean no rattles or pops. Performance with my AEM was 279hp. Gibson has a Y-pipe in thier bolt on don't know about stillen. Best of all No drone. I went with Gibson and have no complaints.

Re: Exhaust- Gibson or Stillen (NO BANKS!)

ok, im sure this has probably been addressed, so just guide me to the proper thread... but i am in the market for exhaust. i want a good deep rumble, no popping or raspiness, just lots of growl, my buddy has the super 40 flowmaster on his titan and it sounds good, i just dont want all the interior resonance, so i thought about going with the 50 series hd muffler by flowmaster... the website has sound clips, crappy ones but clips nonetheless, and the 50 series sounded closest to what i wanted as far as tone. i want to be loud enough to turn heads but not so loud my head rattles on a long trip and i cant talk to the person sitting next to me... any input would be great
