Stillen s/c and Technosquare L-Spec ecu

It's like driving a new truck! It's scary. I'm serious. It's wet outside so I'm being easy with it.

On the highway is a different story! When I punch it at 80, the Titan puts me firmly in the seat! That's when I get nervous! It feels so strong after 80! At 100, it was still pulling very strongly. I backed off.

I did a launch from a dead stop in 4h and the front end went up and the back end squatted! In the distance I traveled, I'm usually at 30 - 40 mph. This time, I was over 60 mph. Again, I backed off because I wasn't expecting that.
If I can get to my buddy's house this weekend, I'll have him put some stuff on video.

Re: Stillen s/c and Technosquare L-Spec ecu

The kit is crazy! I went close to 120 and the truck kept pulling! It was on six lane highway with no traffic by the way.

Re: Stillen s/c and Technosquare L-Spec ecu

Q, glad your enjoying the supercharger. I knew you were going to be critical of the kit because of the extensive research you've done and the patience you've had. I knew our kit would make you happy and I'm very glad to see that you are. Now you have to do me a BIG favor...DON'T TURN INTO GT AND ASK ME EVERY DAY ABOUT THE STAGE 3 hahaha...Just kidding GT.

Re: Stillen s/c and Technosquare L-Spec ecu

Hey got_titan, the service manager and the techs that worked on the truck said the Technosquare made a huge difference. They drove the truck with the stock ecu and s/c and they drove it with the technosquare ecu and s/c.

The service manager smiled and said it's like night and day.

what all does the L-tune do? did you have to send your ecu to techno? how much? if it just removes the limiter, how would that effect the supercharger? more info.......please lol

Re: Stillen s/c and Technosquare L-Spec ecu

The L-spec removes the speed limiter and changes the drive by wire programming. Since it doesn't change the A/F ratio or timing, it doesn't effect the s/c.

I had to send my ecu to them. The dealership overnighted the ecu. Technosquare flashed it the day they got it and sent it back the same day.

The price was $345.

The only thing is now, I don't know the limits of the truck. Before, I knew the truck would stop pulling at 117. Now, I have no clue.
