Superchips to buy EDGE?

Heard at my local performance shop that super chips is purchasing Edge Performance. Has anyone know anything about this, or just a rumor?

Unless they make something for the Titan, it don't matter who own what.

Re: Superchips to buy EDGE?

The reason I felt this might be post worthy is that I have heard some say that Edge is going to develop a programmer for the Titan. Then I have heard that Superchips wants nothing to do with the Titan. So would this mean that Edge would no longer develop anything for the Titan?

Re: Superchips to buy EDGE?

So, does this mean no chip or programmer? This is really starting to bug! I've started thinking about getting rid of the Titan and going with a domestic, since there seem to be more options. Maybe even going back to a car...maybe a Mustang.

Re: Superchips to buy EDGE?

Cant wait for a programmer, from what I have found out all you can do right now is take out your computer and send it to Jet Performance for $400. Doesnt seem worth it if you dont get something you can actually hold onto! The other thing I heard of was a piggyback that kicks in at certain RPM...dont like that either.

Re: Superchips to buy EDGE?

I know the Titan doesn't have replacable chips like domestics but does it have a port like the domestics to plug in a programmer?
I read somewhere on here of someone claiming an actual decrease in performance with the reprogrammed ECU.

I believe they can connect to the OBD port under the dash like the programmer for the F-150 from edge does. Correct me if I'm wrong.
