So, you're basically just cutting off part of the snorkel and only leaving about an inch of it left in the airbox to get more air into the airbox?
What's everyone experience with this airbox mod? Any real difference in sound, horsepower gains, or better take off speed? Any warranty concerns for modifying the snorkel? Thanks guys for the tips on this one.

I felt an immediate difference, better response and that wonderful WAAAAAAA sound when you get on it. I did it a couple months after changing the exhaust, so it was definitely an improvement. Then a month later I added an Amsoil dropin and that added more. I left about 1" of snorkel in the box and I'm not concerned at all about it being a warranty issue because it looks like OEM.
