Smile Magnaflow with a brute force

How is this set up gonna work. I want the brute force and most likely will get it next week. Notice any power gains and exhaust noise? I have a dual rear exhaust by magnaflow and just want to get you guys opinion on this set up. thanks for any info.

Re: Magnaflow with a brute force

In general a CAI will increase exhaust noise. But yes, you can expect power gains with both. CAI's by themselves can add a few ponies, but when coupled with an exhaust system, it will really come alive.

I have the Brute Force with a Gibson kit.

Re: Magnaflow with a brute force

I have the Magnaflow with the Fram Boost and the intake is louder than the exhaust inside the cab. Good combo.

Sounds friggin' mean! Great video. I'm going to pick up a Boost intake this summer and put a cat back system on next year.

Re: Magnaflow with a brute force

Hmmm, that sounds nice! I have the AEM and I'm trying to decide what exhaust to get. How is the drone? I have drone with the stock exhaust and wouldn't want anymore than that, hopefully less. Not looking for anything obscenely loud.

Re: Magnaflow with a brute force

I have drone around 1700 RPM. If you don't want drone don't get a exhaust system. Under the exhaust system thread I posted a few clips of the exhaust. My magnaflow has a lifetime warranty, any time I want a new muffler I can get one. But as with all systems as soon as they tune in you will get some drone. Hence the drone with the stock system.
