Where and how do I go about getting one of these. I have visited summit, detroit locker and west coast differentials and they dont show any thing for the Titan at all, or any prices.
If you dont mind me asking a couple questions, how much? will they make one for the front diff? and if I wait until next year will prices come down since they will not be a brand new item?
Thanks for the info guys and gals

I'm going to be calling some places around town tomorrow. I imagine they'll all be in the $200'ish area like everyone else has been reporting. I'll post some of my quotes when I get a chance.
Kart, are you going to have a Nissan dealer do it or a big name place like Cottman, Aamco or Certified Transmission type of place?
I haven't seen anything in the yellow pages specific to differential repair/installs. Am I missing a key word here or what? Heh.
I've never had a special diff installed before so I'm kinda ignorant as to who to contact. lol

Anyone know whether having the trutrac installed by a dedicated four-wheel shop versus a Nissan service dept. will void the powertrain warranty? My new 06 Titan has only 1200 miles on it, but I want a trutrac installed, and I need advice on which route to take.
I would DIY in the driveway before taking it to the dealer (will the dealer even do it?). My preference would be a 4x4 shop that has installed them previously. My understanding is that the tool and method of carrier bearing adjustment is very similar to Dodge rear axles, employing a threaded bearing adjuster as opposed to the typical Dana 44 shims.
From what I've read on this forum, the typical dealer experience with Titan rear axles will be limited to unbolting & replacing entire rear axle assemblies. I would look for somebody that has installed a bunch of Tru Tracs.
I used a dedicated 4wd shop that has been doing drivtrain work for 25 years...i paid $200 on a earlier quote of $150...but i padded itfor the double install fiasco,,,,
He says nobody should charge more than $200 labor
andi trust a guy who has installed over 300 tru-tracs and 1000 detroit lockers...
