So is the Injen Intake snake oil?????

look i searched the form and im just confused.

based on what i could find.

is it possible that maby its made for stock app. and does really good there, but when you add an exhaust it messes with there whole idea of, tuning for more power, because the truck is now longer stock?

or is the just a bunch of crap and injen is just being retarted

and i shoud just get a fram, aem , or volant

Re: So is the Injen Intake snake oil?????

When it comes down to those 4, it's all personal pref. They're all 4, great intakes IMO. They're all about the same performance wise, SO if you like the dry filter idea, go with AEM or Fram, If you like the Enclosed box idea, go with the Volant. If you like both of those ideas, buy the Volant and replace the filter with an AEM filter. And if you want something that looks cool and you have the extra cash, go with the Injen. good luck.

Re: So is the Injen Intake snake oil?????

I liked the looks and was willing to fork over the extra dough. Granted I haven't put on an exhaust yet, but the performance has been as good as others who have the stock exhaust and one of the other CAI.

Yeah the Injen is as purty as a python.

Their claim says up to 30 hp but the reality is it doesn't.

Youre best best is to check the dynos and times of the quickest titans here and check what they are running.
