Question Functioning hood scoop?

I have looked all over the internet for hood scoops but all i get is the drill in piece that is for looks. If anyone knows of a company that sells the custom hood please tell me. I love the look od the SRT-10 and the lightning. Would like to get a hood like that. Thanks

Re: Functioning hood scoop?

Welcome to TitanTalk, BigBoi.....how about using a 4" hole-saw on the left front fender and installing a scoop there....that's where the air intake is.

Re: Functioning hood scoop?

You've got to do some pretty extensive work to make a 'functional' hood scoop produce any real benefits. Even on the muscle cars of the late 60's, there were only a couple of induction systems that really did anything. But it looked cool, and got people to buy cars.

Re: Functioning hood scoop?

Yah i know the performance gains would be obsolete but it would look a hell of a lot better to have a functioning hood scoop than a bolt on.
