Pictures of Detroit Trutrac and Stillen Diff Cover Install
Just installed aluminum Stillen diff cover and took pictures with the Truetrac installed. I waited till after the Trutrac went in to install to the cover and synthetic fluids. I didn't wanna have to repay for synthetics if there were any install issues....plus i wanted to examine the insides, magnets, and oil for any new abnormal fragments in the oil after some good miles were on the trutrac. I picked the aluminum over the powder coated cause I preferred the look having a smoke colored Titan and I feel the powder coated version would be less efficient at dissipating heat. Most coatings I'm familiar with were created to hold in heat vs dissipated it. However i prefer the appearance of the powder coated for other colored Titan's. Heat transfer/dissipation seems like more of a minor thing vs the extra oil she holds. Took 3 quarts to fill. Almost a quart more. I'm thinkin this was a nice investment after the Truetrac costs plus add a little more personality.
Cheers yall!

Yea that Merc is supercharged has the displacement of a 115...a bunch of low end more than any other 4 strk outboards..She really jump out the hole as if it were a 200..also the quietest motor on the market....can sneak up on the fish without the trollin motor....that quiet at idle or near
