I think 14.9 without gas (RB meant NO Nitrous)
and 14.3 with gas (RB used Nitrous)
Correct! The 14.9 to be exact was done in full LE gear 1/4 tank of gas and baby seat. So now I'm into the 14 second club...FINALLY.
The Trutrac is really helping me out look at the 60ft at 2.13-2.15secs.

Yeah, those 0-60 ft times are the magic of lower ETs.
If I recall right, 0.1 second on the 0-60 ft is "roughly" equivalent to 0.2 secs in the quarter.
Gr8 - I'm gonna strip her down & clean her out the next time I go and with the 17" wheels for good luck measure.
Basically I'll be dropping tailgate, spare, baby seat, CD's, Water bottles, Utiltrack hooks, running boards, mud flaps and nitrous bottle.
I'd like to be in the neighborhood of 5-5200lbs. and running 14.6-7's after.

BTW, congratulations on your entry into the 14 Sec Club.
It's a select few membership. I'm looking forward to joining you there soon as soon as the weather gets better up here in NJ.
OK fellas for those reading...I have to mention that my 80shot was runnig a little lean after checking the plugs. So I'll move up a jet on the fuel side which should help.
Last Sunday I went to the track and ran a 14.6 with a 50shot and then added a rich (+2fuel) 80shot and ran 14.5 so I gained but not as much. However my 50/80shot after the race looks ok on the new colder set of NGK plugs.
Yes I changed to colder plugs Saturday after checking the stock heat range NGK Iridiums and finding that they were looking really lean. Orange cast and some slight pepper in spots.
Gonna run the truck with these cold ones for a week or two and check them again.
I'll post a picture tonight when I get home of both sets of plugs.

Well with the cooler temps I ran a 14.1 last night this was on 49shot pill. I added 80shot and ran 13.8. I ran a 14.7 NA. My 60ft were 1.9-2.0 Full battle trim I ran 14.9 NA.
Also all of the above runs included the baby seat. I almost put on the Head's old 17's but it was late and I was tired and gave up for another day.
Temps 75-79F, truck weight 5430-5320, 93 octane, no tailgate, no spare, stock 18's.
Thank you goes out to the Head (N20 & exhaust) and JetTech (Spring mods) for thier work when they were here.

Ok guys for those of you that leave your solenoids in the engine bay all year beware. Also it is very wise to preflight your nitrous before you use it. As last Friday I was pre-flighting the system and the nitrous solenoid stuck open just enough to spray for one minute after I turned of the bottle. So I was able to save the bottle and my engine by doing this preflight test.
Preflight test includes testing the switches and for operation as well as the solenoids that open and close when activated. If they do not close then you have a wear item called a plunger most likely that worn out. This happens due to heat from the engine bay as it sure was not wear from use on my truck.
Anyway each solenoid has a plunger that opens and closes the flow of gas or nitrous. In order to access the plunger you need a special tool see pics below. The pics below show the plunger from a cold fusion solenoid. Basically these $20 items need to be replaced every 6months to year.
To access the Plunger you simply unscrew the nut on top of the solenoid and then use the tool to take off the locking washer like nut to gain access to the plunger. Then replace and reverse procedure. All done and that only takes 30minutes to do both. Just think a $20 piece could be a 4K Opps if not done as maintenance. Plunger pictured is the bad one.
So Preflight your system before use and change your plungers!
