Well fellas my baby turn 40 today so I decided to give her a little happy chill.
Yeppers she loves the laughing gas indeed. So far so good with a 50 shot she ran .6 faster in the 0-75mph over NA with stock timing 0.
I'm using a Cold Fusion wet kit, NX TPS switch, NyTrex T-Rex Nozzle and Stillens SC fuel rail adapter. The nice thing about the NX switch is that it is voltage regulated meaning that it only triggers the solenoids at 4volts. Also meaning that 0-60 times are effected minimally due to the fact that our trucks do not have TB voltage greater than 4v under load until after 40mph. Also by that time the truck is around 3K and therefore a safe range to start spraying.
My initial test runs were with a 50shot on 87octane fuel and stock timing set at 0. I did install iridium NGK plugs stock heat range and gap.
No pics and no 1/4 times yet but if the rain holds off I'll be at HRP sunday with my 50 and 80shot. No Dodges need to bug me either at the moment. Plenty of time later.

I'm really curious if we'd be able to do 13's with what mods me and you have if we also got the technosquare flash... man i think it'd be funny if we could keep up with stock lightnings with our mods and a 50 shot that'd kick major ***
I've never messed with nitrous before but I assume your using a wetshot right? Where did you place your bottle hard to tell from the pic.. Also is this something I could install or do you need special tools? I'm going to get me some traction bars from PRG and the technosquare next, then if that still doesnt get me into mid 14's I'm gonna spray the bi3$h :P
Nice looking set up Randy. If you want to play around with a Gtech let me know, you can take mine for a week or so if you want give me a call or PM.
You bet lets meet up I need to hear that Zoomers on the highway. How about tomorrow Sunday the 9th?? Call me around 11:30. By the way after seign your new pic I thought I had "inhaled".
Just so you all know... I myself have never used nitrous either. However I can tell you that if you wanted to run it with this setup you can. So far it runs rich according to Cipher those files coming later today of the 0-75mph. I'm running a conservative system and may eventually run it harder. But for now 50shot (36N/21F) 87 Octane and stock plug gap on iridium NGK and stock timing is running good even in the heat of Summer.
The bottle is mounted behind the rear seat in my crewcab passenger side much like "the Heads". As a matter of fact I have some of his parts...grin Someone had to carry the torch ya know...LOL
I used the large ars vent opening on the rear wall to slide the braided line and the blow down tube to outside the truck. Instead of a normal style blow down tube and the angle to get the tube outside I opted for a 1/2" coated stainless flexible gas line 36" in length for your home gas appliances. Works awesome.
The Cold Fusion "Wet Kit" I got was a universal but I did need to buy longer hoses from solenoids to nozzel. I'm not quite sure the exact price of everything as I have been pieceing together for over a year while also reasearching the ins and outs of running NOS gas on autos and nissans.
What I'd like to do is approach Cold Fusion to see if they would offer a kit based upon mine to sell so that all the pieces are the right length and everything is there.
However for pricing lets say:
NEW CF Universal Wet Kit $470
NEW NyTrex Nozzle $70 Nozzle Adapter $22
NEW NX TPS $99
NEW NOS Heater $270
NEW Flexi-Blow Down tube $21 Ace hardware
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs Stock and one step Cooler $125Assorted wires, connectors, fuses, relay and switch $70
Nitrous fill up $4.50/lb.
Assorted Jets need two Fuel/NOS $6ea
Assorted Bottle fittings $30
Stillen Fuel rail adapter $50
Professional Installation $250-$400
If you have a Volant the nozzle screws in really nice and firm to plastic tube. Some of the stuff you can buy used and spent time at the LS1 buy sell forum.
I have a MSD digital window switch and Tach pickup that I'm not thinking I willl need since the NX TPS switch is doing a great job of keeping things safe. However if that reflash from Techno or Uprev finds its way to me then I might need it for sure.
Oh and thanks for teh comments on setup however my engine bay is dusty dirty.
Ok here are the two best times 0-75 using Cipher of 6 total runs back to back NA and NOS. All runs were done in 3's...3 NA back to back and 3 NOS back to back. No cool down between. These are the second set of 6 runs done after the 6 0-60's.
Notice the file names...the best run NA was run 1 and the best run NOS was #3. The ECU was learning the NOS quickly and got better and better...maybe I should have done 4????
Enjoy.
