Is there anywhere that has a video of the titan with a supercharger. Not just the dyno and reving one but an actual in cab rompfest. Please someone produce one or a link to one.

Re: Supercharger Video

Doesn't seem real impressive from those vids. The speedometer doesn't seem to be moving much faster than a stock Titan IMO. I would expect more for 6K, but then again, maybe he isn't really romping on it.

Re: Supercharger Video

On that last video, I crudely timed his 0-60. It was around 7 seconds.

Re: Supercharger Video

That's a search and rescue type Titan. I bet it weights 6000lbs...has big tires...all that stuff. You should see the front bumper on that thing....you can run over a ricer with it and not dent it!

So yeah...I'm sure that Titan isn't screaming too awfully fast. But I bet compared to another lifted Titan with big tired and no SC....it's flying.

Re: Supercharger Video

And didn't Stillens lifted Titan run high 13's when independently tested?

Watch for the stop sign. Notice that he is driving, videoing, and not wearing his seat belt(seat belt light is on,on dash).

yeah, I guess that would make quite a difference. For 6K though, I would be expecting something a little more jaw dropping. 0-60 in 7 sec is what a stocker runs, and 6k to get back to stock performance because of bigger tires and a couple hundred extra pounds of bumper ............I think I'd be asking for a refund. I've had a few passengers in my truck that weigh more than 2 of his bumpers and i can't tell a difference personally...........if 35's makes a truck that slow.....I'm gonna cross those off my list right now.

Edited to add: After watching the vids again, I can with 100% certainty say that my stock Titan pulls harder than that one especially beyond 60. Aint no way that truck has 150 more hp than a stock Titan.....I don't care what anyone says about a little extra weight and 35's. To be that slow with that much more hp it would have to have like 37"-40" tires, the non tow/offroad gears, and a full load of oprah winfrew sized passengers...Somethings fishy here IMO.

Re: Supercharger Video

Got_Titan, I hear ya loud and clear, and I wouldn't expect it to either. I expected the vid to show something mind boggling.....or at least something mildly entertaining. Go shoot some vid and post it up so we can see what an extra 150hp really looks like!!! Please include some powerslides/drifting and humorous narration as well. Thanks!!!

Re: Supercharger Video

I have to chime in here...

If you watch got_titan's dyno video, then watch other Titan dyno video's, watch how quickly the SC'd Titan goes through the gear-it's freaky quick! And remember, he's running 22's in the video. It would be quicker with stock 18's.
Then, notice how long, although not bad, it takes a N/A Titan. The SC'd is making 400hp+, and doing it almost twice as quick as a N/A Titan making under 300hp.

Besides that, the video don't do it justive. Ask anyone who was there, in person, the SC'd Titan makes you feel like you're standing next to a JET getting ready to take off. It almsot feels like it's sucking the air from around you!

And let's say the SC'd Titan makes it into the high 13's. That's damned good. That's in a special class of performance vehicles, especially for a trucks!
Thnik about it, but an XE or SE Titan, throw on a CAI, exhaust and SC. You're at still under 30K for a TRUCK that will run low 14's high 13's. That's not bad....

Re: Supercharger Video

Where's Got_Titan's videos, I want to check them out? I agree that a SCed Titan should do everything you are saying.......but that Titan in the vid above is NOWHERE NEAR running a 13 sec 1/4 mile. Doesn't look like it could do a 16 sec 1/4. Takes forever to get through the gears and the speedo sure ain't a risin very fast. Then again, someone that try's to videotape, do some drags, runs stopsigns, and not wear their seatbelts all at once mught not be smart enough to know how to use the gas pedal either, lol.
