Volant CAI & Bassani Exhaust eBay Power seller

Just ordered my new Gen3 Volant Intake for $245 shipped to my door. The guy lists them on ebay at $296 but obviously came down a lot once i shot him an email.

He also has the Bassani exhaust for $440 (with make offer option) which was very tempting... I asked him if he could get some pics and sound clips before I jump the gun and buy all my mods before making my first payment!! He said he would try and get some next week.

im NO way affilated with this guy...but he seems to move on his prices (in the right direction) so i'd figure id past this along.

I was thinking about buying a Volant, but did you happen to read the large bolded disclaimer in his auction?

WTF does this mean? If you low ball him an offer and it's cheaper than what Volant would recommend selling the CAI for, the CAI is no longer under warranty?

lol how's a piece of plastic going to break? i wouldnt be worried bout it even it it came with no warranty, no moving parts, and no electrical components = no problems in my eyes

i think it just means your not allowed to sell them under Volants listed prices.

I shot him an email privately and he came way down.

On a side note, as mentioned above...its plastic and a filter...I had one on my last truck (tacoma) and that thing took a beating...my CAI never broke.

One more thing....when I worked at home improvement store a few years back...Maytag had set prices...we couldnt sell them any cheaper PERIOD. If it was sold under their pricing it voided the warranty.
