Has anyone noticed that after they put on a CAI and an exhaust if their performance is actually worse off. I almost want to say that after I installed the AFE stage 2 intake and Flowmaster 40 series, that I lost some low end. Maybe it is just me since I have been driving it over 2 years. But on the bright side, the truck is loud as all hell.

Agreed. By doing those modifications, you have sacrified low-end torque for peak power. Overall your truck is probably quicker, but since most of your driving at low RPMs, it feels like you have lost power.
Exhausts...kills backpressure and lowers your lowend tq and hp numbers...
Nobody splained ya this before ya bought???? shame on them.

It is for reasons of typical loss of low end torque (up to 30 % at very low end going by dyno results even the mfg listed supply) and horse power that I chose to go with AEM Brute Force CAI, PowerAid TBS (mainly helps lowend) and only changed muffler to MagnaFlow (stock pipe maintains lowend performance).
Most of my driving is kept below 3K rpms to increase MPG but I still have significant gains throughout. Overall excellent performance and sound an MPG. Well balanced system for daily driving and occaisionally lots of fun.
Recently did long trip at 80-85 mph with 2 adults, 2 kids and bed full of luggage and twice got 19 mpg on straight cruising highways!
FYI: 2006 XE BT Mods above, JetTech Springs, PRG MiniLift 2-1/2" & 1", OEM Sidestep Rails & Bed Rails, BakFlip Bed Cover. Rated 14/18 mpg.
Try resetting the ECU, and then tells us if it helped.

No i did not change out the tubing or "Y" pipe. I read on here that people mufflers shops were saying how nice the stock one was. Has anyone in Riverside had that 2 degree timing done? If so what dealership did it.
