Re: What does a a 2 degree timing advance and a Poweraid throttle body spacer do????????

No conflict at all. As I said "assumption" which is a rough estimate, proof is on a dyno. Also notice I already stated that HP loss wouldn't change much at engiine as engine is doing the same whether 2 or 4 wheel drive. Stillen numbers based upon far more dynos than most of us ever see. Titan underrating is also in my post. Comparison of Titan and Hemi is illustrating there is a difference for some reason, just not totally known why. Nobody thinks friction levels are wildly different, it is as you state, many other reasons. 2 degree advance definitely does add HP and TQ. See Cipher dyno results on the UpRev site. 6-8 HP and 10 lb/ft TQ IIRC. Universally agreed upon on this site.

I love Cracker Jacks!

It means they are making a post for the sole reason of moving that post to the newest thread, so it will be seen first and on the front page. It is strictly prohibited in the Titan Talk rules. However, it doesn't seem to be enforced.

Re: What does a a 2 degree timing advance and a Poweraid throttle body spacer do????????

UPDATE: According to Cipher and some other data logging it shows the voltage at the Throttle Body decreasing near redline.

Well finally someone created a homemade CAI with a camera installed to watch the TB plate through a wide open throttle run.

It did show the TB flutter at shift but not enough to hurt performance a measureable amount.

So it does close.....but just for a quick instance and then it's wide open again. So companies like Technosquare that raves about fixing the TB problem is just feeding off our data logging fears.

The Titan has four cams built for low end torque. Now what we need is a programmer that can alter the TCM and bring the shift points of this truck down so it shifts at approx. 5300 rpms to keep the truck runing within it's cammed power range.

If this truck got a good quick shift at 5200-5300 rpms it should bring down 1/4 mile times a good bit.
