"I'll take any stock TB info regarding the electrical schematic that anybody could provide." More precisely whatever schematics that show the wiring harnesses that connect to the Titan throttle body (tps, electronic throttle control, and anything else, etc...) Also any exploded assembly drawings that include the TB would be appreciated. Thanks, Basstow.

Yeah, guess I will buy the CD if nobody comes through with the service manual info... Sorry about the slow response but just got back from Orlando & getting ready to leave for a few more days for a tournament. Later...

THANK YOU THRUST TITAN! I may need a little more help deciphering the pin-out info you have so graciously provided. The Q45 throttle body I have to work with is a '92-ish that I believe is mechanical throttle control (old fashioned) versus my stock electronic throttle control. I'll have some time off work over the holidays and hope to get the 90mm body fit to the stock intake via some fab work in the shop and will document exactly what my stock throttle body wiring & hose plumbing consists of. I'll share info as it comes available. I really appreciate the help and hope you will continue to support me. In a previous post I attached pics of the 90mm body and the wire colors attached, let me pull that & the info you provided together and post it or PM it to you in the next few days for you to review to make sure I'm on the right track.
Question; Assuming I can't convert the 90mm body to electronic throttle control and have to add a mechanical throttle cable to actuate the 90mm throttle plate, will the new TPS hook-up provide all the info the ECU needs to compensate the fuel up to match the increased air flow? Don't want a lean condition for sure.

"STOP" Do Not Use That Color Code Or Pin Out. It Is For 03-07 Q45
.
I will look it up in a 1994

Thrust,
10-4, I'll wait on info for the '92-ish Q45 body pin-out info from you. I'll proceed with my mechanical control big body and concentrate on the stock manny retrofit for now. I agree with RB that what you are trying with the 2003+ 4.5L manny & electronic control body may be the best way to go. I've been investigating the same approach but since you have the parts I'd just be spinning my wheels trying to play catch up. Press on...and keep in touch through PM.
Know anybody that has a plastic manny available (or front half) that I could get hold of to cut off the front neck and fab up my big TB adapter before I start cutting into the one on my everyday truck?
I've already got a spreadsheet with a lot of good cross-sectional area air flow data for the 5.6L and different size bodies...if you send me the 4.5L manny runner I.D. numbers I'll plug them in and feed back so we can compare with the stock plastic manny.
Thanks again!

Just asking here guys, not trying to be negative. How would a bigger throttle body help if the intake manifold or where the TB bolts up to is still the same diameter or bottle neck? Make sense?
you use an adapter plate to match the tb to the manifold. this creats a "venturi effect" where it narrows, and the spacer makes for a longer intake tract increasing low end

I see.... so it's kinda like how exhaust velocity compliments low end right?
please read back in the forum for the background details...in a nutshell the stock intake manifold is capable of supplying a lot more air than the stock 70mm throttle body can supply. Right now, 2 other members (Thrust & RB) have jumped in with me & together we are working 2 approaches simultaneously to remove the restrictions and unlock the maximum amount of naturally aspirated power for our 5.6L engine. We've done the homework, collected the hardware, and will let all know more once we get the approaches up and running. I'm excited cause I know this will produce BIG results, and not break the bank. Plus, this mod will be only the first stage to unlocking even more power. Got 2 go, IT's CHRISTMAS!! JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!!!!1
