That's one of several Z's that I know of with a VK56 going into it. The first one that I know of that was running (not including the drift Z), was a 280ZX. But, he kept the automatic.

Jared - Ken stopped this project due to a new deck at this house needing to be built. Ken is the head of Zcar club in Florida and he can be found at the hybrid and early Zcar forums.
Last time I talked to him he asked if I wanted the motor.

As far as running that I've seen correct....I've heard of others but not seen them. There is a a VK45 in a 280z I've seen. Its blue and Japanese owned/operated. My local shop SGP Racing was telling me about a customer of his wanting to drop a VK56 into a 350z but that's just talk too. I hear a G35 in Orlando is supposed to be happening and and there is a 240z that has a VK56 not currently running up north.

Oleh on the hybridz forums swapped one into his 280zx. He never did confirm if it ever drove though.
