Cold Air Intake which one should I go for?

I have researched it now for about a week but I am still have not made up my mind as to which cold air intake to go for. I thinking about going with a Fram Boost or a K&N but still not sure. They are not cheap and I don't want to waste my money on something thats going to be a bunch a crap. My dad has always used Fram products now I do so thats why I was leaning more towards the Fram Boost. Is it a good choice or should I go with a different brand.

Re: Cold Air Intake which one should I go for?

Most will give you about the same number, I have the AEM (same as Fram Boost) and have been happy with it. Volant is totally seal unlike AEM/FB. I monitor my air intake temp and the open type intake take in alot of hot air from the engine bay.

Re: Cold Air Intake which one should I go for?

Yes, I've got the Fram Boost and I really like it.

I had very noticeable gains in horsepower and responsiveness. I also like the fact that I don't have to oil the filter so it is very low maintenance.

If you are going to go with the intake I would also try to get the 2 degree timing advance. It felt like I lost a little power on the low end, but after the advance it rocks.

The commercial is here: www.framboost.com

The commercial was real and my reactions are real and they were a bunch of good people.

Re: Cold Air Intake which one should I go for?

I have a AEM brute force CAI dry filter. The Frame Boost is a renamed but is the same product! They are nice intakes. Do your research and the guys here will let you know how they like their intakes....and you can generate your conclusion.

AIRAID all the way and a flowmaster delta flow 40 series to back it up.
