Has anyone else noticed there exhauset get louder with more miles from brand new? Mine has about 400 miles and sounds mean! It wasnt half this loud when it had only 100 miles on it
Can't say I have. I wish, but at almost 5k miles, it still sounds the same. I hardly even notice it now. If I didn't have to lose low end torque to have more growl, I'd aftermarket the exhaust in a heartbeat.

I've got about 6500k on mine I have not noticed a difference since driving it off the lot. I do notice a bit of difference when I have the windows down though.

absolutely!!! it sounds great now....if i could make the stock muffler less restrictive but sound the same i would. it sounds awesome when i push the GO pedal but pretty quiet truckin' along at 70mph.
I dont know what the difference is but I drove a new 06 the other day and its not near as loud as my 04.My 04 was loud to the point I put the zoomers tip on it and the 06 I drove wasnt even loud enough for my taste.
Yeah I can say the same thing. When I bought my 04 it was louder than I expected when it was stock and then I traded it in for an 06 and it was whisper quiet to the point when it had 200 miles I put in a custom exhaust.
Me and my son di-sected my stock muffler with a sawz-all and cuttin' torch after installing the MagnaFlo and it's my opinon that the stock muffler was really a nice piece.....a work of art....an engineering marval....well designed beyond perfection....It would have muffled forever had it been left alone instead of suffering an untimely death at the hands of a couple of mechanical sadist....sick, twisted and bent on careless destruction and warped curiosity....I personally don't see how a few hundred miles or even many, many thousands of miles would of had any effect what so ever on the stock muffler.....but that doesn't mean that I don't believe you or that I think that your imagination might be playing tricks on your mind.....maybe It'd be best if I just shut-up now.

my banks is plenty loud any quieter i'd be pissed! btw, what's all this whining about a louder stock exhaust? j/k... i've heard that over time the stock exhaust does get a few decibels louder. may be the fiberglass stuffing inside the OEM exhaust losing its muffling properties... i dunno??? you can always do the unthinkable and have another premuffler installed to reduce the decibels of the exhaust!

Wasnt complaining. Just asking if anyone had a similar thing happen. I think its cool. Now I have a high performance sound that didnt cost a penny more.
^^exactly!...i wasnt complaining either as evidenced by my "i love it" comment. all exhaust systems, over time will sound different than new. my father installed a borla side exit kit on his 96 cobra and that thing sounded awsome after about 15k miles vs new.
