Whats up guys...I'm trying to get a Timing Advanced done but knowing how this dealer ship is down here in So-Cal...They basically tried to rip me off $100 for an Armada air bumper spoiler. Got it online for 35$...with shipping. I'll try to see if they can do it...but anyways..lets move on. I'm also considering a Throttle body spacer. Any comments or suggestions. I'm interested in the low end torque but will it remove higher end power? Let me know. Thanks.

Talk to Brian S. at Power Nissan Torrance and tell him Patrick sent you. He should be able to hook you up with it as long as you use him for service and give him good survey responses. I can help you with the install on the spoiler or go with you to get the timing done.
Not sure about the TBS but let me know about the Timing.

How far is Torrance from the San Fernando valley??? Lets see, is it close to Pamona Fairplex? If so...I might consider going down there on my day off! THANK YOU! Finally a dealership that gives the customer what they want. Also...does the Timing advance void warranty?

Torrance is down by LAX in a way. I didn't know what part of LA you were in. He said he would personally do it for me. He doesn't think it would make a difference but is still willing to do it. I will be seeing him sometime this week so I will ask him when a good time is and if he'll hook you up. I will keep you posted. About the warranty.. don't think so
Brace, I notice you have the AEM. Same intake as mine, I contacted AEM about the TBS and according to them, some vehicle benifite from it some don't. They do extensive researchs with all their intake, if they felt a spacer would have help it would have been included as part of the intake system. They did not see any benifites with the Titan so it was not included.

believe me it's a noticable diffrence, lol I just had my +2 timing taken off and lost .2 in the 1/4 it really affects acceleration and throttle response..
I took mine off cause this weekend I'm installing over 1,200 bucks of nitrous shiznit!! sick of the subpar runs I'm going to get my baby to run 13's if it's the last thing i do..

Thank God you are one of the smart ones.
The +2 mod was noticeable in my truck the instant I rolled off of the lot. No huge top end difference, but there is a lot of air trying to go out the same place at the same time (headers) so the mod would make more of a benefit in conjunction with other (breather) mods.
Timing advancement does not "void" warranty... very little actually voids warrantees nowadays if you know M-M. Running nitrous might preclude you from getting burnt up valves replaced under warranty, for example, but it has no effect on suspension warranty repairs.

Looks like its gonna be a yes on the TIming advance and NO on the TBS. I thought so...is the TBS more like a Tornado in a way?
Yea I'm only going with a 75 NX "WET EFI Import" kit but I'm adding lots of other goodies to compliment it
MSD RPM digital window device (sprays the nitrous at 3000 rpm's thru 5800)
MSD tach pickup harness
NGK Iridium sparkplugs 1 step colder
NX express bottle warmer
NX purge kit
Stillens fuel rail adapter for spraying fuel with the NO2
I've been researching this for the past 2 months and finally decided to go forward with it since nothing else I can add to my titan is developed yet to make it faster, really wanted to do the Technosquare flash but the engineer is still in japan and wont be back till next week supposedly

Put that money towards a Supercharger. Nitrous is gonna kill that engine. Even if you do the proper fuel mods to compensate for the increase in air, you might end up expoloiting weaknesses in the trucks tranny and driveline. The killer with nitrous is that it is an on/off type of power. I know you can make it work, but the supercharger you don't have to refill...

What's the difference between the hp and torque of nitrous vs supercharger? Not much.
You can use nitrous forever if you're using it right. You won't hurt your engine and this tranny has weaknesses... what weaknesses?

I've just got a mental block about nitrous, I've rebuilt several Honda motors that have been the victim of nitrous. I know if used properly it can work great, but i just don't like it. As far as the weakness in the tranny, i was just trying to stirrup some random crap to make my point stronger, looks like that didn't work hehe. Honestly i'd rather turbo anything over either of these options to bring the volumetric efficiency of the engine up, but engine space really doesn't allow for that on these trucks.
I'm still getting used to my truck not being a lowered car i guess. I'm really into circuit racing where nitrous is never used because when the bottle's done, ur done. Maybe i'm just to trigger happy and would probably run out before the day was over.
I retract my statement about nitrous, if you like nitrous you like it i suppose. My bad.
Nitrous belongs on "pinks" IMO

I'd rather turbo and nitrous than turbo or nitrous... and I've seen Honda engines myself that were victims of nitrous. Every time, it was too big a shot of nitrous, too much nitrous and not enough fuel, advanced timing, or some other thing that screwed up the equation. Nitrous is no different than ambient air... nitrogen and oxygen, and when used correctly will only raise cylinder temps by 200F or so. Big deal.

Well we can agree to disagree. I know what nitrous is, what it's composed of and all that, and the vast array of different uses it has, both good and bad. I PERSONALLY think nitrous is a band-aid type power. You can do it to any car/truck/scooter/lawn mower. All you do is hookup a few lines, replace or redo your fuel system and bam insta power, yippie. Not much skill is involved in that. When you tell someone that you installed your own nitrous setup the first thing i think of is "gee that's real hard". But when you do forced induction TUNING; dyno time, writing fuel maps, retarding ingition timing, i respect that person's knowledge much more than the guy who ran 10's on nitrous.
