Re: New to TitanTalk

Welcome - we have good folks here. Nice upgrades are tru-track upgrade for rear. Stillen Super Charger - better tires - catback exhausts - CAI (pick your brand) - no decent tuner out yet - and still waitind for an after market company to put out a turbocharger.

Re: New to TitanTalk

Welcome to TT. For performance, I would start with a catback exhaust and cold air intake. You will get some performance with one or the other, but with both, the truck really comes alive. I would also get the 2 degree timing advance (do a search if you haven't heard of it), and possibly a throttle body spacer.

On my truck, I've got the AEM intake, Zoomers exhaust, 2 degree advance, and Airaid throttle body spacer. All this works great together, I still have a robust bottom end, and a nice gain at higher RPMs as well.

Good luck, there are lots of choices.

Re: New to TitanTalk

Welcome to TT. Most peoples tend to go with the intake and exhaust first.

Re: New to TitanTalk

Jaho1979 and Baseballfanz got you going in the right direction without going broke. S/C is nice, but expensive and still a bit radical. Study hard before buying the S/C. (We all want one, we just won't admit it to ourselves)

Check people's signatures for idea of what everyone does. Search on subject of CAI, Catback or Exhaust, Cipher, and TBS. Check mfg website to see results from dyno's, just don't add them all up to get a cumlative effect. It's a great hobby, meet some others in your area. We've got a nice club going on in the Baltimore area. Welcome to TT.

Re: New to TitanTalk

thx for the input guys, that's a nice list P'titan, thx. i see that injen powerflow gives you the most Hp and tq. as far as Cat back system goes, what kind would give me the most for my buck?? i'm also lookin for that little rumble but not too noisy. do you guys actually see any difference in fuel economy by having cat backs and CAI? again thx for the input.
