I got my Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow put on this morning and it sounds great. I also got a 2.5 inch slash cut rolled chrome tip to dress things up a bit. My truck is stock other than the airbox snorkel mod. Here is a 3 minute video that shows both inside and outside as well as a couple of drive bys. Note -- the drone inside isn't nearly as bad as it sounds on the video...
Hi I'm new but I've been reading a lot of forums. I just got the the 50 series flowmaster cat back system put on my 06 SE crew and it sounded just like that but after it broke in (friday was 3 weeks) it got really quiet. It still sounds good, but I recomend going with the 40 series because the 50 just isn't loud enough for me. But maybe that's just me.
i really like that! i need to hear a 70 now... i'm pretty sure a 40 will be too loud for my liking.
I so want to do duals though
I'm thinking if i do a single in, dual out 50 series, it may be louder than what yours is. So perhaps a single in dual out 70 series, exiting behind the rear wheels.
besides the 70 being softer, is there any other difference? Deeper rumble in the 50 or 70? anyone know?

The 70 is supposed to have a nice low rumble for sure. There are some clips of various vehicles with their mufflers on the flowmaster site too, besides the ones listed here and they have some extra information too.
I think the 50s are perfect -- I wouldn't want it any louder in the cabin. Of course that's personal taste but they are just right for me. I saw a post from someone else here who has the 70s and said that they are actually quieter than stock once he gets above about 2000-2200 rpm. The stock muffler flows very well for OEM so I don't know that the 70s would be enough difference to make it worth the swap. Although if you go with true duals, the 70s might be just the ticket. It's really hard to judge without being able to hear the exact setup you are thinking about IN PERSON...

like i said the 50 series sounds great right when you get them, but after they break in they get quieter. my cat back duals are just a little bit lounder then the stock, but with an arresive sound. I'm thinking about switching to the 40 series because i have a friend with it on his truck and the sound mean. Mean enough to scare a hemi away!!! But It's still not that bad inside. The titan just has a well built cab. To keep the sound out.
Just went I though I had my mind made up on the 70 series. Now I dont know.

Hey RxZ are your 40 series just too loud or just perfect
What I have is a muffler swap with the 40 series and a 3" tip made by Silverline (its wht the shop had and it looks decent enough). IN other words, nothing except for the muffler, this is not a cat-back system. To me, it sounds pretty good. Nice rumble on startup, and it sounds great while poking around town. However, at ~1600-1800 rpms there is a noticible drone (resonance from the muffler) that is annoying when you try to give the truck some gas to slowly acclerate without changing gears. Most of the time when I am on longer trips, I will set the cruise at 75 and the drone is at the point where it is dissapearing and so it doesn't bother me; your ears may vary.
The sound I get from this setup sounds great, especially when going under bridges If it helps, my wife like the way it sounds, and she didn't even know there was a drone until I pointed the sound out to her. If you ever have passengers with you who are sensitive to the sounds, they may gripe at you the whole trip, but most people like it. My boss travelled with me a few days ago, and he could tell that the truck was louder, but he liked the sound and it was not obnoxious to him.
I hope this answered your question. If not, then ask more and I will do my best to answer them.

Same here -- the drone is definitely noticeable. Not annoying but it's there.

I've not had mine on a trip yet but probably will next week. I usually cruise at 77 on the interstate so that should work to get out of the "drone range."

It's funny -- I haven't even told my wife about getting the muffler on my truck. We went to lunch in it the day after I got it and she didn't even mention anything. Well, this morning I took my 4 year old son to school and it was the first time he has ridden in it since I got the muffler (my wife usually takes him and picks him up.) We hadn't been in the truck for a full minute and he said "Daddy, your truck is loud." I asked him if he liked it and he said it sounded like a racecar ;-) I guess males are more tuned to these kinds of things than females are. I take my 7 year old daughter to school every day and she hasn't mentioned it...
