Just got back from Austin, TX…. Had UpRev tune my truck. Thank god I am pleased with the results cause I am freakin whooped from 12 hours of driving round trip. I left at 2:00am to meet them in Austin for 9:00am. I did not confirm everything with UpRev until Friday night so I did not have time to take off my 20’s and put on the stock wheels. I’m sure I’m losing at least 10rwhp with the 20’s. I was a bit surprised with the gains. I thought I was only gonna see gains down low like RB. Although my gains were not as strong as RB’s in certain places my gains were steady through out the power band. HP peaked out 315 and the TQ was 373. These numbers were with a heat soaked engine, there was hardly any cool down…we ran her back to back to BACK! I know my truck was crying! I’m thinkin with stocks wheels and a normal cool down 325/385 is pretty realistic. From my past dyno trips a 25min cool down can get ya another 10hp. We made over 30 dyno pulls today dialing things in. They found a way to lock my truck in 4th on the dyno…read power lower than ever b4. My truck really did not respond well to being forced into 4th and floored at low speed! She would bog down low and heated up a lot. They got her up to 180mph before hitting the rev limiter in 4th. We found that the 4th gear pulls were around 20Hp short of the pulls done in 3rd, but the TQ was the same, weird huh? My Favorite thing about this tune is the throttle response. Before my tune I could only break my VERY sticky 295/50’s and TruTrac loose from a stop if I floored it, now I can break um loose at 5-10mph. I know there is some debate about the throttle plate not opening b4 40mph….guys and gals they must have found something. One top of that my shifts are really firm but only at WOT, I guess cause the fuel doesn’t cut of while shifting anymore…..OK, here are some dyno’s 3rd and 4th Gear! Oh yea …I set the speed limiter for 140mph! Woohoo!

Good stuff Mark! You got that baby really screaming now!
Austin is about 11-12 hours from here. Tempting... but don't think I could pull it off. I might have to settle for the mail in setup... though I'd prefer to tune it myself with their software.
Thanks for sharing your results! Thats kick@ss!

Ok guys I had a chance to make some 0-60 1/4 mile runs with the G-Tech. One word to describe this mod would be "furious" No need for the burnout mod now....lol. My 1st run was crazy. I dumped the gas and spun my sticky 295's w/Trutrac for 40ft. It looks like someone took 2 giant erasers to the road where I spun. There will be no more flooring it from a stop. I just got those tires...lol! My 0-60 was still 6.31 with all that slipping and 14.76 in the 1/4. Before my 0-60 avg. 6.7sec and 15.2 in the 1/4. Old personal best was 6.49 0-60 and 14.97.The second run I rolled into the throttle, this will most likely be my method from here on out. 0-60 5.91 and 14.62 in the 1/4. WooHoo sub 6 sec 0-60. Just think if I could get this thing to hook without the heavy 20's. These runs were all back to back...so I expected the 3rd run to be slower from heat. 0-60 on the 3rd run was 6.25 sec and 14.73. Just think after I get use to launching with the new throttle. This mod is worth more than what the dyno shows in HP/TQ. They really opened something up down low! I don’t know if I should even try running with the stock tires. I might spin them things off the rim…lol! Ok that will be the next project. I have to wait when for when a buddy comes by we will make some video!

Too bad they don't have something out for the titan like the F150 where you can tune and drive with 6 settings in the dash.

RB, UpRev told me that if I can find a 3.36 ring and pinion. They could send me a new ECU flash when the end user product comes out to fix those problems you had with cruise!

Yeah I know...you have nearly the same ECU I did.
