Re: Volant Exhaust Installation w/PIX
Hey Ag how s the low TQ with the Volant set up? I do a lot of towing and really like the low end TQ and I would hate to loose low end TQ for sound and top end.
It sounds very good inside and out of the truck.

it will be a negligible increase (maybe 1mpg), but increasing mpg is not why people buy CAI...it makes your truck louder and quicker.
FYI- this is a thread hijack!

I am happy with the low-end torque..I don't "feel" like I lost any...however, the Volant comes with an extra pipe so that you can use the smaller factory y-pipe if you want to, which creates the backpressure which makes the low-end torque better. I'm using the shiny new y-pipe that the Volant system came with though. I'm happy with it though. But if once you install it, you feel the low-end torque has decreased, just use the factory y-pipe and it will increase.

Re: Volant Exhaust Installation w/PIX
I have the Volant Intake and Exhaust. I only noticed a very small loss at low rpms, but a huge increase from 2000-4000 rpm. My previous Titan with the Gibson/K&N combo suffered low end power immensly and I never noticed much of a gain at any rpm.
