Nissan went with a true dual exhaust for the '07 year, increasing the HP to 318 and torque to 385.
The exhaust has 1 pipe leaving each manifold going into 2 separate cats, dumping into 2 SEPARATE pipes (NO Y-pipe) into 1 single muffler, and finally, 1 exit.
NONE of the manufacturers out there (including Banks!!!) has a system for the '07 Titans...even though Banks 'says' theirs will fit. John at SoCal Motorsports called all of them and confirmed for me.
Come March or April (by John's best guess) - ALL of the manufacturers will have their new systems out for the '07 Titans.

Sorry to hijack, important info like this *could* save someone hundreds, or at least shipping and restocking fees!

Not true..

I personally know two members that have the 07 factory exhaust on their 2006 Titans. (Jaho1979 and nascarjody) both have the 07 factory exhausts on their 2006 year Titans. This confirms that the hangers have not changed from the prior years...Hence, you can take an 04-06 factory cat-back exhaust and put it on an 07 Titan...Same with 07 Titans..You can take the 07 cat-back factory exhaust and put it on an 04-06 Titan...They are all interchangable..The ONLY ones that WILL NOT work are 04-06 aftermarket systems that DO NOT have a new y-pipe...These are ones that require cutting after the factory y-pipe. Those will not work because they will not line up with the new "ll-pipes" on the 07 Titans..

Hope this clears things up.

So, in summary, the current 04-06 Volant exhaust WILL fit 07 Titans. (as will Banks, and any other aftermarket system with a new y-pipe.

You could even get the other systems to work on an 07 Titan if you can get ahold of an 04-06 factory y-pipe...You would just remove the 07 Titan exhaust, and cut right before the muffler on an 04-06 y-pipe and then attach the muffler-back system just as you could on an 04-06 Titan.

Re: Volant Exhaust Installation w/PIX

Not to hijack again, but Stillen actually has a dual into a muffler and out dual for the 2007.

I see no one with any expreience with this set up?

What's up?

Just no one fired up with Stillen since there are so many manufacturers or is it that the 2007 is sill so new?

Hook a brother up. Where is this great place you shop? I can't find the CAI for less than $261.

Re: Volant Exhaust Installation w/PIX

taking the advice of eric, i contacted socal motorsports and got a brand new volant exhaust delivered to my door for 450 shipped. I have an 07 cc, smoke 4x4 titan and the exhaust fit perfectly, with no problems, just to kinda clear up the rumors that the exhaust will not fit and 07. I love the exhaust sound a look, this thing has almost ZERO drone in stop and go traffic and just sounds plain nasty when you get on it. For those of you out there looking for a little quiter sound, i would say this one is about half as loud as the banks, and a no drone exhaust this one is for you

i will try and snap some pics of the exhaust for yall later

Anyone out there had experience with the Volant and the Banks? Pro's and con's with each?

Me! I switched from the Volant to the Banks. They are both great, but the Banks is MUCH louder!

How much louder are they in comparison with the 07 factory exhaust?

The Volant IMO is just a bit louder and deeper than the stock 07 catback. But when you smash the pedal to the floor It sounds like a happy Titan haha

Banks sounds great and loud from the outside. I haven't heard it from the inside.

Re: Volant Exhaust Installation w/PIX

Got my Volant exhaust today from John @ Socal Motorsports.

Well, just to start off, installation would have been smoother except for the fact that the drivers side of the exhaust, which bolts on to the cat has a slight bent this made installation a bid tricky. I tried a few times to clamp it down as much as possible without breaking anything, especially the gasket. I finally worked it to where it was almost flush, even though it looked like there was still some space.

At this point I continued on, I thought about leakage but figured I would deal with it at that time. I got everything else on in a breeze , not taking more then 30 minutes. After making sure everything was in place I revisited the drivers side cat again. Tightening down the bolts, this time it looked better, and seemed to be flush. Loosened again and tightened again. Started truck up and noticed only one part was leaking, tightened clamp and all was good. Checked both cats and no leakage. I will check again in a few days.

As far as the exhaust itself, sound and looks are amazing! When I drove I could already tell the difference when I stomped on the gas, nice sound and hard acceleration. Much harder then what I had on previously ( flowmaster with 2-1/4” pipes).

But what amazes me the most about this system is the size of the pipes! Now that is what I call serious air flow! Exhaust tip also looks great, very clean look.

All I can really say at this point is that I love it.

Re: Volant Exhaust Installation w/PIX

I like my Volant. Easy install, 1 hr tops. Had to use factory bolts on the y-pipe though because the ones that came with the kit were too big. Sounds good and fits absolutely perfect. Tip is a bit small but great exhaust over all.
