Anyone out there got the 2 degree advance in the

Clarksville TN area? Im looking for a point of contact that knows what hes doing.

NO, but the ECU will only allow for band of -2 to +2 degrees of change from the stock setting. So, if your timing is now 16 degrees, then you can go from 14 to 18.

Ideal for what??? 1000+ HP?? No.. For Stock?? Not a bad way to start.

the ideal initial advance is specific to each truck. But this is just the initial advance; the ECU will continually adjust the total advance (from the intital setting) based upon the map and sensor inputs. Ideally, the more intial advance the better, until drivbility problems start. One of the programmers/re-flash companies has more initial timing than what we can change, and it seems to be working well.
