Question on Titan lower cats...

Anyone had any doings with removing and replacing the lower cats on the titans? I just noticed upon installing my JBA cat-backsystem that there isanother pair of cats under the truck. Looks like a great opportunity for a set of off-road pipes...

Has this been discussed beofre, any reccomendations?

Thanks

Re: Question on Titan lower cats...

This has been discussed here at TT before.
I removed mine and replaced with custom resonators.
Click on the "Rear cat delete" link below my SIG for corresponding TT thread and pics.

Re: Question on Titan lower cats...

Thanks for that link I have spent some time on it and learn't a few amount. Did anyone ever punch out those secondary cats on the 4x4 Titan's? I am thinking about doing this on my truck and was curious if there was any airflow issues doing that?

Thanks

Click the same link under my SIG and go to post #14. It's discussed there too and if you decide to punch it out the catalyst, it will NOT affect the ECU at all.
