JET vs. Stillen

Anyone know the difference, advantages/disadvantages? Im kind of holding off on the performance until I can figure this out...Should be getting the intake, headers and exhaust soon though.

Re: JET vs. Stillen

i have the dual side exit exhaust on my titan. i LOVE it. the exhaust has a very beastly sound to it..it just roars!! i would deffinaltly reccomend it for you. i especially love the little stillen engraving on the tip, it shins up and now people know that you mean business. haha i love it

Re: JET vs. Stillen

Sounds like Stillen is pretty serious about this ecu deal as they are with anything they do R&D on. However i havent heard rave reviews on the Jet chip AT ALL even from other vehicle owners other than Titans. I am not a fan of sending my ecu off. I just orderd the Unichip and JBA titanium headers today. Unichip is fully adjustable and plug n play. Plus i have a authorized dealer close to tune of needed(when i decide on nitrous or supercharger lol).

Re: JET vs. Stillen

Jet has been out for a while...I personally think it is bunk, no postive feed back yet. The UpRev tune works great if you are near austin, tx. The stillen sounds promising but yet to be had!

The chip will do you no good with a s/c that has a p-back.

Re: JET vs. Stillen

I have heard REALLY bad things about JET. My neighbor had one on his Ranger and sent it back. He actually felt a decrease. He went with a N20 setup instead. I've read a lot of other reviews similar to his. I would trust Stillen.

Re: JET vs. Stillen

I have tried Jet products on 3 vehicles in the last 4 years. Very disapointing.

Re: JET vs. Stillen

Lol, yeah Jet chips are a total joke. My dad had one on his 2002 Ram 5.9L and wow, it did nothing. Made his gears hold longer which resulted in a decrease in fuel economy....11mpg to 10mpg lmao and it only had 240HP what a pile. ANYway, ya don't buy a jet chip... or a Ram, save your money and go with Stillen or Uprev
