has anyone tried this performance mod I found on ebay ?
it's only 30 bucks... or this one for 8 bucks ? do they work ? what are the results performance wide?

It took alot of R&D for companies like Stillen, Up Rev, Cobb, ect.. to come up with something. I don't think anyone would sell it for $30 if it was legit.

Can almost guranteee that the first one is nothing but a potentiometer that varies the resistance- it does nothing but trick one of your sensors (most likely the air-flow sensor) into thinking it's getting more air than it really is- the computer in turn compensates by dumping more fuel- hence the power gain.
I've said it before and I'll say it again- increasing mileage AND power on a naturally aspirated engine is near impossible (unless the motor was in really bad shape to start off with). Save your $$- it will do more damage than anything else.
