Volant Exhaust on an 07?

Hey yall i am brand new to titan talk, but am already impressed with how much information is on this site. This site actually swayed me to get a titan over a new F-150 and boy am I glad i made that choice!! Anyway I just got my 2007 Smoke CC Titan and wanted to first put an exhaust on. I have read in a few places that the exhaust on an 07 is different than on past model years. Will a Volant exhaust system designed for the 04-06 fit fine on my 07?

Anyone with experience with the volant exhaust on an 07 yet?

All cat back system design for 04-06 will fit the 07. The 07 factory system is only redesign from the cat back.

Alright cool so it sounds like the install shouldn't be a problem at all then? Also is it easier to take the exhaust to a place and have them install it or is it a pretty easy install. I did an install on my eclipse with performance stuff like an exhaust in the driveway and it was a pain sometimes to get bolts undone and such. Is it easy enough or would if make my life easier to pay a place to do it?

If it's a cat back system it's just bolt on. Spray your factory systems (bolts) with WD40 and let it sit for 30 min. or so and you should be able to get it off easy, putting the new system on is even easier.

Also I have another quick question...is it best to keep your stock exhaust system around after you install the aftermarket one? My car is on a lease and I am under the impression that an aftermarket exhaust doesn't void the warranty, but can i turn the car back in with the aftermarket exhaust or should i keep the stock one around so I can reinstall it when it needs to be turned in?? Sorry for all the questions...

i threw my stock exhaust in the attic when i installed my volant exhaust. Swap it back to stock when ur lease is up and sell the volant for a coupe hundred bucks. The exhaust is all bolt-on and will work on your 07. Here is a big writeup I did on the volant exhaust with pix and videos:
