Re: proautotech black box

You had better hope it works for you. I bought one for me and one for a friend. Returned them both, got ZERO money back and ZERO product back. Now neither Ron nor Priscilla will answer my calls. What great folks to deal with, NOT!!!

Yes, I am not scared to post my name. PM me if you want to see the receipts and the SIGNED acceptance of the package by Priscilla, just to prove I am not lying. Why did I not sue them, I am a Christian and have a belief that everyone gets their just rewards.

Re: proautotech black box

That makes it even scarier. If they won't honor their products when someone buys them NEW, good luck with second-hand merchandise.

Is proautotech still a supporting vendor of this site ? ------It would be reasonable for them to clear things up !

As far as I know they still are a supporting vendor, have not heard anything from them in quite a while though.

Re: proautotech black box

This nightmare began in December of 2005 and continues. To be exact, I had ordered 2 new black boxes and a new Cold Air Intake System. They sent the 2 boxes, and a USED intake system. The box would not allow my truck to shift, the rpm's would never get above 2500??? Maybe a programming problem, who knows but Ron and he ain't talking. If I can save one person here from a $400.00 shaft job, so be it. Speedmon, I would have thought the same thing, but, as it happens, they will not answer. I began legal proceedings and dropped them. I can sleep with a perfectly clear conscience. I have been on these boards since buying my new Titan in 2004, so, I am not new to these boards, just the name is changed.

Re: proautotech black box

I heard that Ron got into some legal/financial issues and he's not even in the FT Myers area anymore? I have never done business with them, but was about to try to order a BOX from them when I was told about their financial/unethical dealings. Like I say, I can't comfirm anything, it just steered me away from them. It sounds like others here have more or less confirmed what I had HEARD.
