Help On TBS Install!!!

Well first of all...I got it on..installation was simple. But one thing got me thinking. The seal with the screen on it....I cut the screen off and put the seal back in its place. Now I tried putting the two seals in together (that came with the kit)....but it felt like I was gonna strip the screws when trying to tie the thing down. So I basically just used the stock seal with the screen cut. Put everything back in its place and turn on the truck. First noise I heard after the install was a loud air sound....felt like something air leaking. I put my fingers around the TB to feel if there were any huge rushes of air....none. So I leave the truck on for awhile and the idle from the exhaust note sound like a friggin muscle car. It would be consistent notes then it would sound like it would be stalling....vrooom......vrooom.....vrooom...then back to the normal exhaust note. I was like...damn it! I took her out for a drive....love that whistle noise.......but when at the lights I would feel the truck shake with each rough idle...then it would go back to normal. Is it suppose to be like that or was I suppose to put that extra seal on there. If that noise from the TBS is because of a leak....will extra seal stop that?

yea u put one seal on each side of the spacer .... the one that came w/ tha tbs goes on the outside of the spacer it will have a little grove where its supose to be
