which series of flow master mufflers work best on a titan, and why?
If you want louder, go with the 40 Series, if you just want a little louder than stock, go with the 70 series. Both will boost the HP a little.

I had a Flowmaster 70 single in/out on my Titan, and now an 18" single Magnaflow. I'll say one thing, I will never go back to a Flowmaster muffler. The Magnaflow sound quality is superior imo.

50 seris is a little shorter and more open inside. performance i think would be about the same. its weird though drive ur truck for about 20miles or so after you put ur exhaust on before judging any performance gains. mine seemed a bit slower as i drove away, but about 20 min later it seemed to get all its power back and then some. i guess the computer has to figure out why its flowing more air. if you lose any bottom end throw on a TBI spacer and ull get it all back
click the link in my sig for some video clips of 40 series

It's basicly about sound homie.. I had the magnaflow but I'm running the 40 series now, which is what most of us use, and it's ****in ill.. Just find some clips and run what you like.. As for power gains exahausts aren't going to get you very much
got the 50 as well, growls nicely. sometimes i wish it were louder, but it's still sweet. 70 would be too quiet, IMO. my next Titan will have a 40 series or maybe a banks if i'm feeling rich.
the Flowmater kit comes with a 70 series to keep tone some of the resonance a Titan has. Guys that want more sound have been using 50 series dual out to get, the dual look, and good tone. If you are the off the edge type who really want to hear it then use a 40, but you are going to hear that resonance coming the Titan engine. Ride On!
