K&N, Banks and PRG Installed!

I can't seem to get this big grin off my face...only 2200km on the beast and I am really enjoying it now.....sorry no pics, I was too busy driving everywhere! I am at work overseas right now so can't get any pics for another month but I will give my 2 cents.

Ok, so before I installed the intake my RF stereo wasn't even working...due to that incompatable mp3 issue or whatever it is when the radio goes into safe mode and doesn't turn on or anything...reading in TT about the battery cable disconnect, and that worked as I took the cable off when installing the CAI...man, just from the intake it sounded like I put headers on or something! I know there isn't much power differance, put it was just for show anyway.

Next up I took my truck to the muffler shop for the banks and PRG...I have to say, reading the posts I was a little nervous it would be too loud and I wouldn't like it....wrong. I love it! The drone issue is what bothered me the most, but it sounds great, not sure about this drone its just kind of loud when putting any pressure what so ever on the gas pedal....I might get a little sick of it down the road and put on a zoomers tip but for now its awesome. Power wise, I think the guys who said you lose a little on the bottom are right, step on the gas and it is just a little hesitant but then around 2800rpm its like you hit powerband or something...I still want to do the timing advance and maybe throttle body spacer?? Not sure if those two go together or not, and haven't looked into the timing advance in Canada yet.

Oh ya, and the PRG 2"/1"...much, much better. I love the look now, and in the summer will get some new rubber, maybe wheels too.

Haven't got too many posts under my belt but I think I have read every post on this site...thanks for everyone's input, I really do use it to make all of my decisions..
