Re: it is now january of 07..do we have a decent mod yet for the titan?

I just surpassed 5000 miles on my Titan....Frankly I am a little pissed because it I can feel the power in some spots, but it has a flat spot somewhere between 2 grand and 3500 and falls super flat after 5 grand. It is very disappointing for an engine with VVT.

Maybe some info will be given out today at the HB meet about the Stillen's chip.

Powerprogrammer setup for a local dyno fuel map tune would be nice. Also be nice to alter shift points.

If you're in Texas anywhere near Austin, a trip to Up Rev can get you a dyno tune. Shift points is kinda tough right now as most peoples don't want to mess with the tranny ECU located inside the tranny itself.

How much(estimate) power gain did you guys get from the Dyno tune. I am guessing quite a bit considering how flat the engine is in the 2 obvious spots.

Re: it is now january of 07..do we have a decent mod yet for the titan?

Im curious how you would like to change your shift points Toomy. maby to shift earlier? it seems the motor revs a little to long in D. I have BT gears and maby different shift points but am scared or redlining to far. (i have siezed one newer gen 5.3 chevy and know 2 others that have). also our motors seem to pull really hard at lower R's as well. the chevy loved to scream and all the power way up around 3k

My truck has rolled into the red twice while spinning, and it makes me mad it even revs that far, because it isn't even making any decent power. It needs to shift in the lower 5's to mke any decent progress, unless you can tune it to be more productive at a higher RPM....

i have had the same thing happen to me. i even tried shifting manually but it still revs out too high before it shifts. im sure a programmer will have this option. It better if if took this long to come out!!!

NICEAWN don't be dissapointed in your top end of the 5.6. It is tuned for bad a$$ pulling and low end grunt. It's doing what trucks are meant to do, you wann go fast mod the piss out of it
