So I've got this crazy notion.....Unfortunately no one seems to be able to do the 2* timing advance in New England, so I'm resorting to more desperate measures.
Someone out there has got to have a Cipher/Consult sitting around, you already hooked all your buddies up and now its just collecting dust.
My idea:
I Paypal you fedex shipping/packaging and insurance $$$.
You mail your Cipher or Consult to me (instructions would be helpful too).
I hook myself up with the 2* timing advance.
I package, insure and ship your Cipher/Consult back.

yeah i'm with you CEO, i wanna try out some nitto mud grapplers, so if one o' ya'll will just ship them to me & i can drive around for a couple thousand miles & ship 'em back that would be totally cool. i'll pay for everything!
I bought the Autoenginuity/Nissan enhanced software, and let me tell you it takes several hours of experimenting and a few emails to know what you are doing. I don't know what Cipher Uprev supplies as operating instructions, but most of this type of software is intended for professionals who are familar with the Consult, or have access to detailed Nissan diagnostic procedures. I would consider mailing the laptop and software already loaded, but because of what I just mentioned, that's out of the question. Anyway, if you're going to the Chicago auto show next week, drop me a message, and we can get your timing advanced and idle air volume done on your way to the show.

There is a thread about this in here somewhere. You can get on the list to use the stuff, and then mail it on to the next guy who asks to use it. We do this with tools in the Citroen world all the time.
I think the thread was callled "who's next in line for Uprev tune" or something close to that.

They are not looking for anymore to join; I "tried" making an $$$ offer to join a few of those groups, no one would bite. Anyone heard (dare I ask!!) an update on stillins chip that will do all of this and more?

This Stillen chip is turning into folklore around here.
I had been saving and not buying any mods for a while in hopes of its release in October. I just couldn't hold out any longer. Im at the point where Id rather buy exhaust, lift, tires, etc. now that its been delayed so long.
I am now going to pretend that a chip is not an option for our vehicle. This way I dont have that glimmer of hope always wondering "When will our chip come out?"
With Nissan coming out with the VVT for the 07 Titan, I kind of doubt Stillen or Cobb are pushing hard for this. I'm sure the 07 change threw a wrench in the gearbox on this. It's all about volume, and I don't think there are enough 04-06 Titans out there for them to consider it a priority now.

haha! Very true. Now the reasoning seems to be that the harness is harder to get made than the chip itself! They'll be others making the same chip soon and they might actually "really" have one to release!
